GULC Waiting Thread Forum

I know GULC doesn't send out admissions e-mails, but do they generally send out decline e-mails to those dinged? gosh...this entire waiting has been driving me nuts.

And does anyone still stuck on 12/9 for the last complete date?

Once you've been updated 4/5 times to different dates under "Complete," people have been clicking "Forgot Password" on the admitted students website. If you can successfully get a username and password sent to you, that means you're in. Although I highly doubt that would happen before your interview.

Edit: The username/password gets sent via email.

you click "no password" not "forgot password"

So, after getting into the admitted students website on 12/13, which was my last update.... and never hearing anything afterward or getting anything in the mail... Today I got an email saying "Congratulations again on your acceptance" and then going on about the early admitted student reception... Guess I should probably email them and ask if my acceptance was lost in the mail

There is no UR at Georgetown, only a bunch of different complete dates, and then being able to generate a password for the accepted students site and getting a letter in the mail.

I'm still Complete 12/13 but it looks like I'm in - I got an email today which congratulates me "again" on my acceptance. Then I discovered I could get into the admitted student's page. It's a strange way to find out, but I'm not complaining

Had the group interview last night with Dean Cornblatt. It was really fun actually. All it was was a debate about admissions. We were asked to act as if we were the admissions committee and discuss certain topics such as LSAT vs GPA, Affirmative action etc. Competitive but not intense environment. I believe it was pretty much the same thing that he has done on various undergrad campuses. Gtown is really cool too. Great location obviously, I enjoyed the visit a lot.
