Placed on reserve. I have a terrible feeling I'll be applying again next year.
165/3.79
Can other recently reserved applicants share their numbers?

I was not that upset about it until I saw the description of the size of the WL/reserve list. Yikes.

that 3.7x is a rough number. I have one too. it's like we're not good enough to offset our lsat by making 75% on gpa and we're not bad enough to ding straight up because our gpa pads their medians (at every fucking school)
so yeah.
(I think cornell has a 75Th that's higher than 3.79 right?)

Retake. A few extra points will get you a T14. 5+ points will earn you $$ at a T14.Placed on reserve. I have a terrible feeling I'll be applying again next year.

IMO, you are the classic case of where undergrad and major come into play. (Yes, I recognize that TLS 'wisdom' says that college and major don't matter...)

still doesn't pad the 75th really. not like it will help boost their numbers and maybe next cycle it will be 3.8.who knows. i'm in the same boat. just saying it sucks.RetakeFrenzy wrote:Cornell's 75th GPA for Class of 2015 was 3.77toothbrush wrote:are you urm?SteelPenguin wrote:Placed on reserve. It's actually their 75th. Non urm. I didn't mean to imply my numbers should have gotten me in. This is my 3rd t14 wait list. Retaking in June now.toothbrush wrote:are you urm?SteelPenguin wrote:Placed on reserve. I have a terrible feeling I'll be applying again next year.

wow just looked at your cycle. holy fuck. :/chadbrochill wrote:Guys I am literally in shock, if anyone can consult me in PM I'd greatly appreciate it.
Should I be making legit plans to sit out the cycle and apply next year? Or is the whole law thing not gonna work out for me and I need to pursue another field? I am being completely srs, I am both bewildered and crushed with disappointment.

I was accepted to Cornell back on 3/15 and still haven't received any scholly info. Should I be worried? If Cornell isn't going to make an offer, are they going to notify me or just leave me in the dark?
