saw my UR date change from 2/4 to 3/11 yesterday and have been anxious ever since. anyone else in the same boat? i applied just after christmas, and one of my friends who applied a few days after me and just got in, so i am anxious...

can the changing UR date be a wash for duke like it is for UVA?

also, when does duke send out emails? are they ALL at the end of the day or?

I know mine changed about a week before I got in. Did you send in a new lsac report, like for a score or transcript? Either way, good luck! Also, Duke sent me an acceptance letter at like 9:30 pm.

You should establish your personality and this can only be done through consistency. So in your LOCI, I would suggest something like this "To reiterate my previous sentiments, I would still like to join the class of 2013 like mahfucker".

Quick question guys, for the scholarship/financial aid application, was this trackable via the status checker? I remember people were like oh! my scholarship amount was sent, I just have to wait a couple days to see how much, but I was wondering where you guys found this info?

Yup. Thats how I found out that at least the information was sent to me. If you use the same status checker you used to see the status of your app, under mailings, it says "scholarship information sent," which is how I knew at least whatever the decision would end up being, either no money or money (ended up with 45K, they're hella generous with schollys), would be in the mail within a few days. Hope that helps!

Thanks bro. NYU's scholarship deadline is 4/2, so I'm just like scrambling to try and get all the numbers so I can make an informed decision. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

My status checker also says my form was received 3/1, but it says the scholarship decision was sent out 3/13. You could try calling them. I called them just to make sure they received it. The status checker didn't update to received until weeks after I actually sent it in.

Did you just call the admissions office phone, or is there a finaid office phone to call?

Mine, too. I had to call, because they lost my form from when I sent it back in November. Didn't know until late Feb. Called the financial aid number, and the director was super nice about it.
