With a UR2 of 2/4 not all of my hope is gone...just 99% of it

So Penn is closed for tomorrow, I think? Maybe we'll see some more calls on Friday? My 2/4 UR2 needs some love (or maybe a WL the way this thread is going).

Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
Penn should be closed until Monday, I'd imagine. They're due to get 20+ inches of snow, and Philly is an absolute NIGHTMARE when it comes to plowing the roads. They just don't do it. Philly will be a train wreck at least through tomorrow when the snowstorm ends.
Snuggle up with a cup of tea, everyone. We're waiting for the weekend. (I'll bet!)

LOL yeah, I am in philly now and we were expecting 6-12 inches maximum. It's not even snowing right now. They will be working tomorrow.

UR1 12/3 UR2 1/28 -> still haven't heard anything. How is this this slow? I applied in October and November and haven't heard back from anywhere.

Okay, no need to be so hostile about the weather.mandyjay11 wrote:barrelofmonkeys wrote:do you even weather? that's highly inaccurate.kek5250 wrote:Penn should be closed until Monday, I'd imagine. I live 10ish miles away from Philly and we already have over a foot of snow! (How much difference could like 10 miles make?! is our forecast really that much higher?!) Plus there are already school cancellations for tomorrow in the surrounding areas. If Philly is a weird isolated bubble of less snow, it's news to me! Good news, but news!

My UR1 1/17 just rolled to UR2 2/14.
Edit: Is there a consensus on timetable from UR2 -> Decision? Read the thread and it seems like anywhere from two days to two weeks.

Thanks. It would also appear that the 20+ inch snowpocalypse forecast was a bit off, unless the status checker works when the humans don'tmandyjay11 wrote:vuthy wrote:My UR1 1/17 just rolled to UR2 2/14.

+1, but with a UR2 of 1/24.t-14orbust wrote:It's been over 3 weeks since my UR2. 12/24 > 1/23
On the bright side, there was a UR2 1/24 person that got the admit call a couple of days ago. So (being an optimist here) maybe being skipped over is not a ding sentence.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
