Early Jan submit here...I have not been held/reserved, not even a word from Columbia since going complete.

Does this bode well for me or are we starting to get to the point where no fresh acceptances will be going out? 170/3.8

Submitted in November and have not heard anything yet either...

Submitted in December and in the same boat. Thinking (or hoping) that no news is still good news but I may be wrong...

If you didn't get a Butler/Hamilton, you won't be receiving merit aid. Other financial aid awards will be given out beginning at the end of this month/early April.

From my understanding, it's technically labeled "need-based" but that's just a cover for merit stuff too.

Just went complete last week due to some errors in receiving materials. Does CLS generally go in order from completion date as the email states?

EDIT: Aaaaand by looking at the spreadsheet, it seems like they do and the last dates were early Jan completes!

I'm in the same boat. I called the admissions office last week and found out that there was a Dean's Certification I forgot to have submitted (explaining a trivial C&F issue from freshman year). Now that I've ordered the certification to be sent by mail--CLS doesn't accept faxes or scanned PDFs--I don't even want to THINK about how late I'll be hearing back from them.

I had a similar issue. Trivial C&F issue (a bad first semester over 12 years ago resulted in a semester of Academic Probation when I returned to school eight years after), but missed the instruction to send in a Dean's Letter. As a result my app, which was submitted 12/8, didn't go complete until 1/29... womp, womp...

If not, do you think giving them a call to check whether it's been added to my file is a good idea?

I didn't. I had to e-mail them a few weeks later to check, and even then it took them three days to get back to me.

Agreed. Someone on the fb group said that the office told them they were busy verifying all the materials and once that was finished they would be in touch if we were missing anything.
