I think you and I are in the same boat. My guess is (or at least my hope) it's some kind of "hold" status. I would be very surprised if we don't hear back by Friday or Monday at the latest, and I tend to believe it will be positive (depending on how many actually deposit vs. how many withdraw)... then again, with the way this cycle has gone, who can really say for sure?
I'm also still IR (although I just went into review a couple of days ago).
I'm a borderline candidate at best, though.

so is every DF 4/27 going to check their mail today and post here if its a rejection? it would be greatly appreciated.
although i'm located in socal, my mail doesn't come in until 4:30pst. so i'll report in if i get the decision then. but im guessing it won't arrive til friday at the earliest.

I'll be checking but I'm in NYC so it likely won't be here even if it's already out for delivery in socal...

Why can't they just email decisions? This is torture. I'm almost 100% sure it's a rejection, but the little hope that I have keeps me up at night....and I keep dreaming about this. Pathetic....

Officially withdrew from USC this morning

This was a tough one for me, as I would've loved to spend another 3 years at USC. No matter what though, I will always be a Trojan for life! It's just time for me to move on and experience another environment for law school. Good luck to all of you who are still waiting! USC is an amazing place, and you will not regret it if you decide to attend!

hate to say this but it might not happen. most law schools send acceptances through first class compared to rejections which usually don't. also USC might mail out acceptances that day but rejections they might not mail until a few days after the DF date. seen both happen.

You're right...so is it safe to assume that no mail tomorrow=rejection?

If the mail was sent out first class on 4/27...wouldnt have SoCal already received the mail by today? Not to be pessimistic.

I don't think the decisions go out the same day. And from what I remember my status checker was updated quite late. Ugh I hate all this speculation I just want to know!!

Yeah, my status checker went DF at around 7:30 central/midwest time so I'm sure if they sent out anything it would have been yesterday. Edit: Or today, I suppose.

yea some acceptances were not mailed out until 2 days after the DF date. so it might not be rejection just because it get it late.
