Oh man! For my 100th post I get to catch up on congratulating everyone (especially the old guard) on their JS2s! Here's to hoping the wave continues (and maybe they throw some JS1s in for good measure!)

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
I'll be honest, I'm not feeling great about it. I counted ~35 js2s in the threads yesterday and ~25 on the spreadsheet. During the Jan. 14/15 wave there were only 4 js2s reported on the spreadsheet on day 1 and 24 on day 2, which would lead me to think we could be done for a week or two. Then again, theoretically they need to pick up the pace soon so who knows. Any idea how many total admits could've gone out yesterday? 100+?ugg wrote:soooo what are the chances there's another round today?

Hilde, my condolences for the likely fact that you've never witnessed your NFL team of choice win a Super Bowl

Aaah, I wanted to congratulate everyone individually yesterday, but that clearly didn't work out.
So to everyone who got a JS2,
CONGRATS!
I'm so excited for all of you, and I hope you celebrate like crazy this weekend. And perhaps even more importantly, best of luck to everyone still waiting for a JS1 or JS2!
including me

The new poll is great! Can't wait to root for my Pats in Boston again.
Gotta ask though - with all the love going to JP Licks, has anyone had Toscanins ice cream in Central Square? Best. Ever.

Preeetty sure (hoping) they're not done yet. They had three days straight of JS2s last year in early Feb; and the cycles have closely paralleled each other (in fact I think we're behind on JS2s for this year).ugg wrote:soooo what are the chances there's another round today?
Good luck to all of my fellow JS2 hopefuls out there

TWO NFL teams??...pretty lame. Although the whole time after posting that I was thinking "don't be from NY, don't be from NY"Hildegard15 wrote:And you'd be WRONG since my two NFL teams are the Seahawks and the NY Giants sotheconsigliere wrote:Hilde, my condolences for the likely fact that you've never witnessed your NFL team of choice win a Super Bowl![]()

I like your optimism, but I'm nervous that they called so late last night because they wanted to finish their piles, especially because toward the end a number of Jan. JS1s showed up. Hoping I'm wrong.lawsk3wl wrote:Preeetty sure (hoping) they're not done yet. Great poll, OP! I went for Marathon Monday & history, but in my heart of hearts, it's being close to Harpoon Brewery again....

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
Hmm..I really don't know. The only thing that's giving me hope is that 2/2-2/4 wave from last year where they spent almost literally all day on the 3rd and 4th calling and started in the afternoon on the 2nd. They started a little bit before the usual window yesterday, but by no means did they start at 9:30 like they did on 2/3 and 2/4 from last cycle....but then again doesn't seem like anyone's heard anything today. Time will tell!itsgonnahappen wrote:I like your optimism, but I'm nervous that they called so late last night because they wanted to finish their piles, especially because toward the end a number of Jan.
