With numbers that close to the median...it doesn't seem like all of these would be rejects. At the very least, I'd expect most of these people to be waitlisted, right? So, it really seems like this could be a mixed batch (if that's even possible) or accepts.

if they already have enough people that are waitlisted with similar stats, they might not need any more so it can easily be all rejections. and i highly doubt its a mixed batch since none were mixed so far but you never know....

Decent softs I think (got on the Vandy WL + Faculty Review @ Boalt), but I don't think I'm a URM for USC (Asian)

you're still at median for GPA, and that WL + Faculty review means you should have decent softs like you stated. and yea im asian and there is no chance we're URM.

I think you and I are in the same boat. My guess is (or at least my hope) it's some kind of "hold" status. I would be very surprised if we don't hear back by Friday or Monday at the latest, and I tend to believe it will be positive (depending on how many actually deposit vs. how many withdraw)... then again, with the way this cycle has gone, who can really say for sure?

hmm you can call and ask if you're really curious, but i doubt they lost it.

the question is why did we go DF without people with your stats. your stats should make you an auto-admit. you and jman77.

I think Ryou and I are kind of at the same place in our cycle - we both got WL at Vandy. I kinda wouldn't be surprised if we both got WLed at USC but it seems like DF means its either reject/accept, so I have NO idea.

I was Complete from 10/22 until In review 4/22 - then DF 4/27. I highly doubt that they were so impressed with my 165 and 3.3 that they slapped me with an acceptance five days after I went into review. It's really not that uncommon for a school to use homogeneous batches during the early part of the cycle only to start sending mixed batches later.

I wouldn't go even if it was an acceptance. I'm mostly interested now because I was curious as to how long this thing would drag along.

Not an URM, the guy in my sig is Earl Campbell. Legendary University of Texas running back (my UG). I'm guessing thats why you might of thought I was an URM though haha.
