Are all of your status checkers changed or do some still say UR 2/4?

Those fuckers always wait until the end of the work day to send out their WLs and dings. Pretty weak move if you ask me.
Sorry guys.

Waitlisted. I had a friend get in with an almost identical resume and slightly lower numbers than mine. He's really not going to let me forget about this...
Withdrew. Good luck all!

Re: U Chicago 2010
Waitlisted as well...2/4 crowd, not terribly surprising....It does seem like they deliberately wait until the end of the day because they don't want to deal with 100 people calling and asking about the waitlist/why they were rejected, etc. Will more than likely just withdraw, I don't know how some people deal with waiting until the summer to hear, writing additional essays, locis, basically saying that you dick just gets as hard as an iron pole every time you think of Chicago.

Re: U Chicago 2010
Waitlisted via email, but the waitlist email was not quite as hopeless as Penn's. Penn's basically said "Let us know if ya want a spot, but we're not making any decisions til summer. Seeya".
Chicago's email had an invitation to send updated transcripts and/or an essay. It also requested them by March 1 and said something to the tune of "continuing to consider me for admission". I thought that was interesting. Not to be the perennial optimist, but does this mean they may actually accept people off the waitlist BEFORE summer? Was there any movement last year?
What do you guys make of the March 1 deadline. I thought that was certainly interesting considering there are likely students who will be waitlisted post March 1.
(Numbers exactly at median FYI)

Waitlisted. Numbers on LSN under the same name.
edit: It may be relevant that I just took the February LSAT.

Waitlisted, from the 2/4 crowd. Had numbers at/below both 25 percentiles, non-URM so I'm all kinds of excited. I was expecting an outright rejection.

WL as well. I was convinced it was a ding, so I am pleasantly surprised. Hope this Feb score comes through for me, otherwise I think it may be hopeless.

Waitlisted today as well. I got waitlisted by UVA today as well, and I have to say Chicago's email was way nicer.

Waitlisted via email, with an invitation to send updated transcripts and essay.
I have nothing else to say or send, and no more patience left inme, so I guess that's it for me. I'm Withdrawing from the waitlist.

Re: U Chicago 2010
They had yield issues last year and accepted a decent amount of ppl off the WL in late April/early May.js87 wrote:Waitlisted via email, but the waitlist email was not quite as hopeless as Penn's.
