I'm sorry to hear that, alinor. With a high LSAT like yours, I'm sure you'll have a really good shot at getting off the wait list.alinor wrote:WaitlistedUR1 12/3, UR2 1/29. LSAT > 75th

Yep, the subject was "Wait list invitation from Penn Law". And thank you! I wrote a pretty decent Why Penn essay, so hopefully that'll help me get off of the waitlist.albs18 wrote:I'm sorry to hear that, alinor. Sorry to hear it guys...seems like Penn is doing a lot of waitlisting this year, so hopefully that means a lot of pulling from the wait list

General consensus seems to be 1-2 weeks between UR2 and decision. I'm at 2 weeks today... So... here's hoping?

I don't like the post-5pm rejection email move. Just seems kind of cheesy.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how withdrawing from the wait-list effects a school's yield and acceptance rate? I wonder if Penn's YP strategy could backfire on them.

It looks like most of the decisions were for the UR1 12/3 group. Did any 12/24's hear anything?
