From the data on mylsn.info, it seems like Columbia sends out decisions throughout March and (to a lesser extent) April. Hopefully more people will hear back soon?

Basically a rejection. Columbia doesn't like to commit to rejecting too many people and its really hard to get off their waitlist (aka reserve list).ssanonymous wrote:Not good then?Wormfather wrote:You dont wanna know.ssanonymous wrote:First Reserve. What does that mean?

Reread what I just posted. Also, lawschoolnumbers.com. They prefer people die a slow death. The anti-Boalt, if you will.

So reserve is waitlist? There's not like a bunch of lists: reserved, 2nd reserved, waitlist, etc etc?
And I went complete 01/16 but I submitted 11/06

Reserve is WL yeah. 2nd reserve is after the first cut of reserved people, and there is a 3rd reserve after that.

Re: Columbia c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Everybody is initially in first reserve. In May or so CLS will cut some people off that WL, the people who survive make "second reserve." Then later in the summer some more people are cut from that, and the remainder are in "third reserve." At least that's how it worked last year.ssanonymous wrote:Sooooo first waitlist? Very unlikely I'd attend with anything under a butler so not disappointed.
Although they do seem to have awesome professors.
