With that said, yes, it's definitely a good idea to get someone to review your LOCI and put some actual thought into it.

No, I got nothing. (I did have an email correspondence with them a few backs though. They asked me what I had been doing since graduation. I replied to them and they told me "this is exactly what we were looking for", so I dunno what today's radio silence means).

Having family (especially a younger sister) in the area is definitely reason to go to Michigan. Tell them.

Yes. Use this information to convince the reader that you're likely to attend if admitted.

The family angle was essentially my entire Why Michigan.

I did send a quick reply to today's awesome e-mail, pointing out my increased LSAT and that Michigan is basically still my top choice. I don't think going to formal LOCI level is something I'm going to honestly consider until I get a waitlist.

Actually it is. Ties and all that. I believe my hubby's why mich included that his family lives close by. LOL
