Admit/Reject/Held Spreadsheet 2012

Updated to include URM status, URM descriptives, URM min/max admit/reject. Breakdown by LSAT not currently possible due to sample size (<10 for each category.)

4 URM accepts, 6 URM deny's, 11 URM helds

It also seems like reverse URM splitters have fared better (relative to small sample size) than traditional URM splitters.

This has always been the case. I was under the impression that URM boost usually applies to LSAT more than it does for GPA.

Updated to include URM and Traditional descriptives for 2010-2011 cycle. WL who did not update to admit or reject / withdrew were removed from the data. Please PM or reply with requests (if any) within 24 hours before I have to start taking school seriously again Note: I am using LSN rather than HLS published data for uniformity in population, LSN/TLS is self-selecting and is therefore likely to have higher stats.

Observations: Averages so far are very close. Currently 60% acceptances compared to last year end of cycle. GPA averages of current rejections below last year.

No offense PopTorts, but you've only been under review for about a month (when you factor in the week/ten days they were closed around the holidays), but you've been complaining about "crickets" for weeks now. You applied right when they were getting the most apps, so it's likely that it just hasn't been read by everyone who needs to read it yet.

On the other hand, IIRC, there are people who applied back in October who still haven't heard anything.

I would take the held stats with a grain of salt... a lot is probably trolls even more so than LSN due to the minimal effort required to submit fake stats in comparison to creating an LSN profile.

I think your URM data is missing a few acceptances. I know of a few who post on here who have different (generally higher) numbers than the ones that are listed. I don't want to out them if they didn't post on the stat sheet, but suffice it to say that the averages will probably go up a bit. Just FYI in case anyone was trying to use the spreadsheet as a barometer of their own chances.

I think there's some logic to the idea that they're waiting to see the full pool after February 1st, so I'm remaining hopeful and expecting more silence for a bit. This cycle has just been pretty weird so I'm doing my best to not read too much into things (good luck haha) and stay optimistic.

How long does it usually take to go from App Received > App Complete in status checker? Same question for App Complete to App UR.

Data is exclusively LSN self selected URM and the held thread. A better barometer is 2010 URM data

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you can pretty much assume a rejection if you do not hear anything within a month.

I am trying to encourage reading the thread (one is about to post in) before posting.

Because last year the exact same thing happened, everyone asked about the meaning of a KB1 before complete, after complete, complete before UR, after UR etc. etc, so finally somebody put a disclaimer in the OP about how complete dates meant nothing.

Historically, about 90% of applicants in the same situation got rejected.
