Yes.
+1
That would be more appropriate for scholarship negotiations after admissions.

Here's a drop of hope for deferred ED kids -
I did notice via TLS that there was someone last year (ED, deferred) who got in sometime between Feb. 8th and March 21st (based on post history, that's all I could determine; yes, I'm fucking crazy).

in other words, we might have a chance at hearing before dooms-week in April.
can anyone suggest an alternative method of data collection for this? should I try myLSN? I wish I could filter on LSN by deferred---> accepted.

Is anyone aware of a formal or informal "cut off" for need-based aid? Waiting on information to complete the need-based aid application, and I'd like to just go ahead and move forward without this application if it's completely unrealistic that I will get any aid.. Anyone have experience with this?

stupid question but I'm just trying to figure out if we'll get decision waves throughout all of March:

does this mean that admissions will be working March 13th - 17th (while the students are off for Spring Break)?

I would really love to hear about financial aid right about now

Also hoping they are willing to negotiate (my expectations are low :P).

It sucks to be Columbia ASP while everyone around you also plans their visit to NYU. Love me, NYU.
