176/3.87.
I thought other DLS folks might want to know: it turns out that they were waitlisting me. I guess I'll be getting back on the rollercoaster.
When did you submit your application?

seriously!! i feel like so many people are still waiting to hear back from Stanford.. none of whom will be able to go to their ASW since it already happened. I guess the implicit assumption is that some of us still waiting to hear will receive good news?

Going back and reading some of the cheery "checking in" posts in mid-September made me weep a bit for our past selves. How naive we all were.

Turns out my DLS was a WL despite not getting a follow-up email. While I'm really tempted to test fate and ride this thing, I already signed and sealed my place and I'm mentally committed. I still take this as a compliment, so thanks Stanford for making this decision an easy one :).

Yeahhh.

I thought when they started with the WLs it would be a huge wave, but there have only been two people reporting such right? And tons of us are still waiting.

I think it's because the WLs seem to be arriving via snail mail? But at this rate, I'd be happy to see DLS in whichever form it means.

what do the WL letters say? do you have to do something to stay on the waitlist, or is it just a notification? cause my address is still wrong even though I emailed them about it....

considering how abysmal my cycle has been thus far, I'm fairly happy with radio silence since 11/30

At this point, I have no idea how to interpret the fact that I haven't received a DLS in some form. It's good to still be in the game, but some closure would be nice.
