I wouldn't say "no JS2" as much as maybe it's still a bit early to expect one? This is me being optimistic.spyke123 wrote:Woah looks like there are tons with js1 but no js2...

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
It seems logical that they'd wait to get a large chunk of JS1's finished and then make JS2 calls at the same time. Of course figuring out that interval is the problem...spyke123 wrote:Woah looks like there are tons with js1 but no js2...

Checking in.
Hail mary app, went complete today after applying 1/15. Submitted the most eccentric supplementary essay I could come up with though, so if nothing else it may elicit a curious phone call and interview.

No no no. If I get anything other than a flat rejection I'll share it.
Somehow though, having nothing to lose made writing the application much more pleasurable.

Something to that effect. Just a loose supplementary statement writing about myself in an abstract, eccentric, philosophical sort of way.wert3813 wrote:Supplemental to Harvard? Diversity Statement?nba101790 wrote:No no no. If I get anything other than a flat rejection I'll share it.

went complete 1/15. starting to lose hope for an early js1. this is going to be ugly.

Something of a lurker succumbing to TLS seductiveness.
Checking in. Complete 12/13. JS1 tomorrow.
Flinging self to a sprawl and praying to Zeus for guidance: Commencing.
While I wait for dem thunderbolts.... any last ditch interview gimlets of wisdom to share? I've combed the thread and appreciated all the insight. Panic feeds the need for any further tidbits any of you experienced chaps have to offer.

I dunno, haven't there been more JS1's waiting than normal - pursuant to what JS said about trying to interview more people whilst giving out the same number of acceptances? So, the line between JS1 and JS2 is getting wider...Wormfather wrote:Relax, the line between being good enough for a JS1 and being good enough for a JS2 is thin. If they didn think you were JS2 worthy, they wouldnt have given you the JS1.

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I had a 12-day gap between my JS1 and JS2 (and a wave of JS2s in between) so none of the January JS1s should lose hope yet.
I know this goes without saying but prepare really excellent questions. I feel like with JS her questions to you are so easy -- as long as you know your own resume/life story -- that one place you can really stand out is having questions that show you have an understanding of law school AND Harvard Law.cloudatlas wrote:Something of a lurker succumbing to TLS seductiveness.

this is whats scary.. its good that they are interviewing more people but this also means.. interviews are no longer just a formality..ManOfTheMinute wrote:I dunno, haven't there been more JS1's waiting than normal - pursuant to what JS said about trying to interview more people whilst giving out the same number of acceptances? So is it more like 50% instead of 75% this year?
