I wouldn't say "no JS2" as much as maybe it's still a bit early to expect one? This is me being optimistic.

It seems logical that they'd wait to get a large chunk of JS1's finished and then make JS2 calls at the same time. Of course figuring out that interval is the problem...

Hail mary app, went complete today after applying 1/15. Submitted the most eccentric supplementary essay I could come up with though, so if nothing else it may elicit a curious phone call and interview.

No no no. If I get anything other than a flat rejection I'll share it.

Somehow though, having nothing to lose made writing the application much more pleasurable.

Something to that effect. Just a loose supplementary statement writing about myself in an abstract, eccentric, philosophical sort of way.

went complete 1/15. starting to lose hope for an early js1. this is going to be ugly.

I had a 12-day gap between my JS1 and JS2 (and a wave of JS2s in between) so none of the January JS1s should lose hope yet.

I know this goes without saying but prepare really excellent questions. I feel like with JS her questions to you are so easy -- as long as you know your own resume/life story -- that one place you can really stand out is having questions that show you have an understanding of law school AND Harvard Law.

this is whats scary.. its good that they are interviewing more people but this also means.. interviews are no longer just a formality..
