Re: Georgetown c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
So I definitely rolled my eyes every time someone was able to generate an ASW login but had not yet been actually able to log in or received official confirmation from Georgetown, and then nervously asked the forums if it meant what they thought it did. And now I'm definitely one of those same people.
From what I've read, being able to generate an ASW login def means you are in? And that you typically cannot actually log in til several days after generating the password and the letter/email acceptance might not come for a week or two afterwards?

Accepted via letter this weekend!
Submitted late Nov. Participated in a group interview in DC in January. Reverse splitter. Was not able to generate an ASW password until today (login works!).
Good luck to all still waiting!

Does anyone know what one can expect from a Georgetown Law group interview?

Anyone who submitted early/mid-December still in the mix?
My last update was 1/6 after an interview... feels like I'm destined for a WL...

From past posts, it seems like it's more of a role-play where your group pretends to be an admissions committee and comes up with an admissions process and discuss what criteria there should be, etc.granturismo72 wrote:Does anyone know what one can expect from a Georgetown Law group interview?

I just went complete for the second time, how many completes are people on average getting before a decision is made? What does this second complete indicate?

Depends if you have an interview or not. They do a complete when they get your interview review. I think I had 4 completes and an interview?stabiloboss wrote:I just went complete for the second time, how many completes are people on average getting before a decision is made? It was actually pretty fun -- I was with a great group of really nice people, and Dean Cornblatt is awesome. Feel free to PM me if you have further questions about it!

Sorry if it's been answered, but would they give out interviews for people who apply in January?
And if I go complete, that means no interview, right?

I'm not sure, but I know there were some December interview. To the latter question, no. You go complete before your interview.Blumpbeef wrote:Sorry if it's been answered, but would they give out interviews for people who apply in January?

I went complete today for a second time as well.. a little nervous as to what that actually means. Participated in a group interview in October.

I went complete on 12/13 with no movement since, despite having a group interview on 1/19 (wondering if I met you, FavoriteColorGRUE!) and Dean Cornblatt said that he would be entering notes about us the following day. Either he did not do that or doing so did not cause my status to update. Hoping for the latter. Also hoping that not adhering to the pattern of movement reported by many admits does not mean I'm getting dinged

Re: Georgetown c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
So I had an alum interview early this month, and I've updated twice since it - on the 19th and then 20th. I also submitted my Fall grades. I haven't updated since the 20th. Should I be haunting the ASW at this point, or should I give it a few more weeks to potentially update again? Georgetown is a little bit of a stretch for me but I'd be ecstatic to get in.

I was in the same one, maybe FavoriteColor was, too. At 5pm. Were you in the 5pm or 6pm? I've been complete since Dec 1. No movement..hooma wrote:I went complete on 12/13 with no movement since, despite having a group interview on 1/19 (wondering if I met you, FavoriteColorGRUE!) and Dean Cornblatt said that he would be entering notes about us the following day.
