No. I don't think GULC sends that info until later, and from what I hear some people need to ask to be considered for scholarship monies.

No. I don't think GULC sends that info until later, and from what I hear some people need to ask to be considered for scholarship monies.

Good news. Not that I would be totally opposed to paying sticker, it's nice to know there's still a chance I'll get something.

just updated to 12/22. now I've gone from (dates before I started paying attention)-->11/30-->12/20-->12/22. Ack! I can't wait until 5pm (and am also terrified to check my email).

Well, 5pm has come and gone and I still can't get a password on the Accepted Students Site. Oh well, at least I didn't get rejected! Back to the obsessive status checker checking for at least one more day.

well, sorry if I misinterpreted. It felt implied that he meant the people coming in the bottom 25th percentile of the class are URMs. I don't know why I bothered replying to his comment anyway.

Carry on with the normal Status Checker updates, people! Mine's still 12/20.

So I can spell it out, 25th percentile means that 25% of matriculants are at or below that number. Considering that GULC's 25th is 168, this means that these people are, for the most part, URM's and reverse splitters. What it means for the reverse splitters is that there are probably a lot of 168's and very few less than that who are not URM's. Meaning that the bulk of the bottom 25% of LSATs are either URM's (probably anywhere from 10-20% of total matriculants) and people with 168's and sky high GPA's make up the rest.

Also, do you think if I emailed hotline they'd be able to answer questions re: need based aid? Say I have a Fafsa EFC of 0, no assets or income, mother has no assets or income, and father has another family to support and only moderate income... does Gtown have good need based aid? And would I get it?

Most people who get accepted early in the week can't actually access the site until Friday or Saturday of that same week.

So I was ED and then requested to be moved to RD a little under two weeks ago. I received the email from Cornblatt about being held. Any idea of the odds of going from held to be admitted?
