Maybe call them and ask what's up?
Is your date still there?
I wouldn't call, that started a shit storm last time.
Yea, I am back to regular old red text and todays date. They have a lot of computer glitches

I think that may be a good sign...?

My update date is back, 1/28, and regular old red text. :(

Same here, but somehow I find that more reassuring than 1/26, complete, red text.

Decision Plan: Regular Decision Last Updated: Jan 26 2010

Status: Waitlist Offer Extended

I haven't received an email from them indicating this change in status, but I did get that general application status mass email from the dean a couple of weeks back.
Not sure why nobody has responded to this but...it would appear as though, yes, you are one of the first to be WLed by Michigan. I went and checked mine, but it still says boring old "complete."
I find it funny/slightly mean that they state waitlist "offer extended."

When did you apply peanutbutter?
That's definitely what happens when you're waitlisted, though I seem to remember the waitlist email coming before the status checker update. It seems like everything is just backed up this cycle. Once you submit the form stating you'd like to remain on the waitlist (if you do), it will change to simply "Waitlisted"...

What's the difference between red text and blue text?

Red text means you haven't yet been admitted, or the site hasn't been updated to give you access yet. I'm not sure what blue text is. The odd Microsoft Vista error screen, though, occurs when the entire site is down...

I'd hold off. Mine took a month and I applied at the beginning of November, before they got so backed up!

EDIT: Fixed typo.

Though it should be noted that this is kind of a cop-out and probably a strategy Obama is using to deflect any potential backlash onto the Congress. Obama does not need to ask Congress to repeal DADT; he can do it very simply himself with an executive order, and he's not up for reelection next year, making an executive order a much more realistic way of getting rid of DADT, if he really wanted to.
If he did an executive order the next president could just undo it and then what? Kick everyone out or back into the closet?

Oh, I think I submitted my application in mid-November, and received my status checker at the beginning of December.

Mine was updated on 1/26 but still said complete. It still says Complete today, but now with today's date. Blue text, though.

I'm assuming that this refers to your status checker. When someone says "red text" they usually mean that in regard to when they try to access the admitted students website. The red text means that you don't have access, either because you were rejected/WL'd/ or no decision has been made yet.
