So I guess that just leaves me. Complete 10/8. And while those complete at the end of November begin to fret, I remain in limbo. Thank you, sadistic Harvard for just stringing me along...musketeerlady wrote:So JR is a man of word, at least in my case. He said those who submitted before Nov 1 will hear back by "early-mid Jan" and I indeed just got a hold email. Submitted on 9/29, UR 10/2, complete 10/22, no JR1. Given my low GPA, I'm happy it's not straight rejection.
Crackberry and mockstar, I think you guys are the only two left with early submission?
haha... maybe it's just because I have slight stoic tendancies... I think both of us will get decent legal educations given the schools we already have in the bag... it's just a shame since there are a couple professors at harvard that I was particularly excited aboutHattori Hanzo wrote:You mean you haven't even STARTED getting concerned? On LSN I've seen a few people accepted with later dates but haven't seen any rejections either.![]()
I have the same dates and haven't hear anything either. Other than a mini miracle, we'll be getting either a hold or a rejection in the next couple of weeks so yeah, go ahead with the "concerned"....
I'm not holding my breath.citydweller09 wrote:Since we're speculating, do folks think any of the JR1 --> Held applicants have any hope of acceptance? My theory is that we might all be that group of ~200 poor souls each year who get the phone interview but aren't accepted. Maybe the waitlist is the best we can hope for?
I'm interested to hear people's thoughts on this.

Yes they have.of Benito Cereno wrote:so Harvard hasn't rejected anyone with 175+ lsat yet... I guess they're holding on to the hys splitters (175+/3.7-) for a while.

I just saw that I had a new e-mail, thought it was finally something from HLS, got really queasy, and it was just a lame-ass e-mail from academic support. Awesome.

don't know if the JR1 -> JR2 percentage is different for URMs than for not, but don't pack quite yet. i'm unconvinced that the interview itself has much meaning, but there are still a bunch of us on this board (some with numbers that have been auto-admit in previous years) who had the JR1 and are now in hold limbotalibkweli wrote:jr1 email today. so is the general consensus that this in no implies that i should start looking for a place in cambridge just yet? i know the ts1s last year were all but a formality for most people.

At least two 175+ have been rejected so far. The fact that they aren't on LSN is meaningless.of Benito Cereno wrote:I was just going from what I saw on lsn, what am I missing?crackberry wrote:Yes they have.of Benito Cereno wrote:so Harvard hasn't rejected anyone with 175+ lsat yet...
