Real talk, they must be waiting to see what their Butler/Hamsauce yield is like.
Considering the delay in koala's inevitable acceptance, I have to agree.
They're not going to know that for months, though, right...?
Yeah I'm pessimistically saying that's not the reason. I think last year people speculated the same thing, and it never panned out. There wasn't like a second wave of Hammy/Butler recipients after deadlines to accept the offer iirc.

I think they're just slowly working their way through the files, and we'll hear when we hear.

Koala btw will almost certainly cop dat hammy

Held today - LSAT > 75, GPA > 50. Complete in December. Hanging in there!

Haha aww, you guys-I only wish I could get a Hamilton (they seem to give Hamiltons/Butlers largely to people from elite UGs and/or with preftigious WE, and I fall into neither category).

I totally agree with lastsamurai that it's probably not related to Hamilton/Butler yield-I personally suspect they may end up doing another round (or perhaps even several rounds) of interviews.

This has been my sneaking suspicion as well...

Oh, no. Sorry to hear that-but being held isn't the end of the game by any means. Did you feel that your interview went well?

Turning down people above both 75ths? Thought CCN was a numbers game?

Starting to lean more and more towards NYU who's reached out like a million times if I end up in NYC...

Here's some high hoping--that the snowstorm constipation of the local postal office yields a blue envelope in today's freshly delivered expulsion. Granted, expectations are, as we all know, futile, but here's one last spurt of optimism in the midst of winter, one last starry eyed and naively desired wish for institutional acceptance, for a pat on the head and a chuck on the chin by the established authorities. After all, what jerk wouldn't be proud of Columbia? After today, though, I'm keeping a more muted watch with the stoic's indifference toward fate. I confess, it seemed like a done deal, but now I am not so sure...2013 is rapidly receding, August looming larger!

No envelope for me yet either. Stay patient people!! Good things come to those who wait. I'm glad I'm in such good company when I see all of the other people who haven't heard anything yet.
