First ever post! woo!

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere (there should be a search feature on this thing), but for those of us who are still waiting, I assume it could be a good idea to send additional materials. I didn't write any extra essays but with each passing day I feel the motivation needed to do so rapidly taking over.

For those who did write a "Why NYU" type essay, was there a specific prompt anywhere? Since the application is closed, I can't see what the optional essays were anymore...

Thanks a lot!


Also congrats to those who got in and good luck to those still waiting!

Really? They won't be getting to their full applicant pool until September?? I understand if they waitlisted me but for a first decision that's ridiculous.


From their website: "Candidates who apply by our regular February 15 deadline (must have taken the LSAT by the previous December to qualify) will be notified by late April."

Admitted this morning (3/25) via DLS and ASW!!

Applied 2/24 without an LSAT score (took Feb 2014), complete 3/6, UR1 3/7, UR2 3/10.

LSAT > 75, GPA > 75. I'm probably a bit of an atypical case...

Looks like last year the last Tuesday in March was a big day for acceptances....then after that, not much luck.

Here's hoping we all get that news today.

Has anyone even gone UR again recently without a decision? Last year there seemed to be some UR2/3s around now.

I had a dream last week that I got in off of the Columbia hold, the Penn WL, and NYU in the same day. I never woke up sadder than that.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll be waitlisted at this point too. But I just want to know! Or at least for other people to know! There's seems to be so many people waiting still...

Still waiting !!!!! I don't know if I should lose hope yet or keep holding on. I keep thinking that looking at my status checker 30 times a day will get me a quicker response.
