ahhh

Does this mean they aren't really handing out JR1s anymore, and that we have successfully (or rather in my case unsuccessfully) moved on to the "accept/reject" phase?

Even if not, that will be my assumption from this day forward. If I receive a sneak JR1, hooray for me but I seriously do not expect anything positive at this point in time.

Dunno. Lotsa WLs coming and there were still a few admits later, but on lsn it was just one or two here and there. Could also be a sampling error (those on lsn could be more likely early appliers) and more late appliers get jr2s later without reporting on lsn.

My status is weirdly at "Application received 1/31"...not "complete." Is it worth an email or a call to see what's going on or is this a idiosyncratic Harvard thing?

Even if you get the complete email, your status checker will never show "complete." It stays at UR.

Well today's the 7th (1st Week) but I was pretty sure it'd be today given the tweet about big day early this week, Monday precedent, 3/8/10 day of jr2s...

So far it's quiet here and on LSN. Hoping for some lunch-time/ post-lunch action!

Every time I refresh this, the Harvard LSN page, or check my phone and find no news, I die a little (a lot) inside.

I have to take an exam in a little over an hour...I don't think it is going to go well if I'm wondering "Might JR be calling now?" every thirty seconds...

Whoa that's super interesting. Not so much Harvard being on top, but some of the other rankings pretty much debunk the mythical TLS tiers within the T14.

You need to sort by Decision, descending.

hey guys,

if according to past cycles, today is the last day of JR2s, how do those who received a surprise JR1 email this past thursday (after being held, like me) stand? The interview is scheduled for this Friday morning. When (could) those potential JR2s come in??

Sorry if this has been discussed already, I didn't see it anywhere in the last couple pages...

You need to sort by Decision, descending.

I only fear that someone might change to Accepted without adding the Decision Date. Hence I'm just refreshing on Last Updated (expecting most Monday updates to be JR2s).

Oy, sorry. That was me. I realized Ihadn't updated my UR date and complete email. This is obviously a stupid question, but what does the blue "N" next to my user name mean?? (In the list of applicants.)

It means you checked a box somewhere saying you're a "non-traditional" applicant (aka older/changing careers etc)

edit: oh and no need to be sorry! It's my neurosis that is the problem
