Excuse me if this question has already been answered somewhere. But should people on hold/reserve also submit fin aid forms? I know thats the case for some schools. Just wondering if the same thing applies to CLS as well. Thanks.

And of course since we just got over a hold/reserve wave, I must now wonder if this is part of the typical trickle we've been seeing or if this is like the initial acceptance wave where the internationals got e-mails the day before the first NCEs appeared.

But I'm going to manage my expectations and assume that this does not in any way herald NCEs for those of us who've been forgotten.

Does Columbia actually award any grants to people applying for financial aid? Or is it pretty rare?

The application is due on Friday, and I'm having trouble getting my parents' tax-returns. Should I be stressing over this?

Interested in this as well. I probably won't qualify purely on the basis of need due to parents income so I wonder if its even worth the trouble.

Yes they have. At Columbia it's called the "reserve list."

If we ignore the fact we submitted at about the same time......You went complete a month earlier. I got my letter a month later. Same result. Columbia -- oddly predictable and rational, sort of?

Ahh, have you decided definitively on CLS, then? The Hamilton is pretty tempting, but HLS (disclaimer: haven't gotten into) has always been a dream for me academically and location-wise. We'll see how the cards play out once admissions/money/visits are all sorted out, though! It's certainly a strong contender.
