Finally updated from UR at 1/27 to 2/17. How many more updates before they give a decision usually? (I know this has probably been answered somewhere ITT already but I don't want to look through 20+ pages).

Should I send in a Why Penn now despite that "Why Penn" isn't listed as an optional essay topic? Alternatively, I could write about how another aspect of my background (work experience) fits with Penn Law. Any/all feedback would be greatly appreciated! I'm thinking of writing the essay tonight and emailing it first thing tomorrow
Anyone? Thanks in advance:)
Lol, relax shaw, we just went under 4 days ago..

Forever at 1st UCR 1/12.

I was flipping back through the older pages and didn't see any floods of dings...maybe I didn't look closely enough. I'm hoping there isn't going to be one big day of rejection, because I'm afraid I will be a part of that list.

If Wed is the big decision day, I should probably turn in my LOCI ASAP. Anyone wanna switch LOCIs and help each other edit?

Penn says that it will take up to 12 weeks from one's complete date to receive a decision. Anyone past that point?

...Come Friday, I will be.

I was at 18 weeks last week (complete date way back in October). Another poster a page back had a complete date even earlier than mine. So, yeah. It sounds like 12 weeks is just an approximation and some have to wait longer.

Does anyone know if there is an estimated standard time it takes to receive the decision following your second "Under Review" update?

A few days? A week? Depends really. I heard about a week after.

Don't worry, I was at something like 16 weeks of completion but then got accepted.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
