Accepted! So thrilled right now!

174 LSAT (first time), just under 3.6, Regular Decision, UR 12/7 and my status still says "application under review."

I hoped NYU would give me a present for my birthday later this week and they delivered!

congrats, grumbles! Great news! Didn't you also get Penn today or am I imagining things?

Yay congrats!! I'm a threepeater too with almost identical LSAT numbers but a slightly lower GPA. Still on UR 10/20 though. At home for Xmas so texting my roommates to check mail! (also in NYC)

so it seems like they're starting to dip into non auto-admits but still people with one # above median (even if multiple LSATs)..wonder if they'll ever dip a liiiiiiiil lower!?!

Also, is everyone UR Nov or earlier still purple envelope-less?

I'm a threepeater with two scores and an eight point gap between the two. I really, really, really strongly suspect that they don't care overmuch how many times you've taken the test.

In the same boat with three LSAT scores. I don't really think they'll care at all. With less people taking the LSAT they will have to try to get as many high scores as they can to keep their medians, retake or not. It might affect scholarship amounts though.

Nothing here in DC (UR Nov.). Not necessarily expecting anything, but if anything were sent in this last batch, I'm thinking it probably wouldn't arrive until tomorrow anyway.

Do we think they've thrown out updating to "Decision Letter Sent?" Or are those who reported no change in their UR status exceptions to the norm?

But maybe NYU will do something newer, crazier, more cutting edge next year, thus necessitating a newer, crazier precedent cat.

So, I have seen a lot of people get in with no status checker update. As a 12/15 UR (was 11/15) EDer, I am wondering if anyone has gotten rejected/held without a status checker update. I.E, still says under review but "out"??

I am almost lame enough to go make a precedent cat tee. We could swarm law school campuses next fall with precedent cat shirts.

As a matter of fact, if I get accepted I may just wear something to ASW. At least a button.

I was messing with the kitty. I will hear back when I hear back. I don't have much expectations for the rest of my apps, so I can get back to playing around.
