My status updated to decision sent on 12/17 (I'm RD), and my purple envelope arrived today - I was expecting it to take a lot longer!

wait, your status changed today/tonight!?! this gives me a wee bit of hope. WEE.

Edit: NM, still UR.."application under review" are now my 3 least favorite words

Mine. Freaking. Too. Now I'm just hoping that (like sgtgrumbles) my status checker is just being grouchy and I actually have an envelope waiting at home in all its purple glory.

I am joining bosox and sgtgrumbles as another purple envelope recipient without a corresponding status checker update. My status checker still says UR 12/8, the acceptance letter is dated 12/17, postmarked 12/18 and arrived today. Weird. Oh well, I'll take it!

Purple envelope here! (In NYC) My status checker still says UR 12/9. The letter was sent 12/17.

Interesting note for some people, I'm sure: I'd always heard that NYU doesn't like multiple LSATs. I don't know if it's true or not, but I'm a 165/170/173 and 3.77.

Yeah... 10/22 here still holding out hope. Hopefully there is something to this lack of updates that can end up meaning good news...

Yay congrats!! I'm a threepeater too with almost identical LSAT numbers but a slightly lower GPA. Still on UR 10/20 though. At home for Xmas so texting my roommates to check mail! (also in NYC)
