I'm sorry if I was too presumptuous; perhaps I'm wrong. I'm about halfway through my Moritz application (still finishing up my essay, but other stuff has been sent in) and I received the leadership scholarship. However, my application isn't complete, so there goes my counter-example.

If you're really concerned about it you could contact the Admissions Office and get the info straight from the source.

My recommendation (explicitly intended for the Moritz Merit) should have arrived yesterday, but perhaps the info hasn't spread itself around yet--I received the Leadership Scholar stuff from Dean Salmon, and the Moritz Merit stuff from Dean Northern.

Received an email awarding a merit scholarship in the total of $25,500 over three years.

The deadline for the Moritz Merit Scholarship is this Monday. So, I don't think receiving the Leadership Scholarship automatically disqualifies you from the full ride.

Just received an email saying my decision has been deferred until March, little strange as my lsat is above 75th and gpa is above median. I guess they didn't like something in my application? Anyone else deferred?

It is nice, combined with in state tuition after a year especially. But it's not a diversity scholarship as I'm not URM.

I think robin was referring to to robin, and it seems like several students receive the diversity scholarship without being an URM.

Lol thanks Rawlsian, yeah I was referring to me and I did receive the diversity scholarship (partially blind but not a URM). Anybody know if you can apply/receive more scholly money by applying to the scholarships (ex: moritz?)

Yeah it says it was mailed on 2/8; but I get my mail sent to Cleveland, not Columbus, so it might take a little longer
