164 lsat and N/A gpa
.. I don't have a gpa cuz I study in England. but they converted my grade and gave me a B+. i'm also top 8% of the class (if they even notice that part of the grade conversion report)...

Re: UC Davis
Tagging and providing my info. Looks like I have a lot of waiting ahead of me.
Sent application 11/25
Received status checker 11/30
Switched to Application File Complete - Awaiting Evaluation approximately 01/05 (not sure of this date)
Still there 01/19
Good luck everyone!

Re: UC Davis
some people who applied late, and were completed later seem to go into "under evaluation" much quicker. I'm not sure if this is random (as Davis claims on its website) or its based on stats?
Some people are still not under evaluation who applied since Oct, but some people are who applied in November. Can those people provide their stats please? if not specifics then in the form of 25%, median, or 75% on both GPA and LSATs.
Assuming 2006's Davis incoming profile:
25% 50% 75%
GPA 3.41 3.62 3.78
LSAT 162 164 167
Some people are still not under evaluation who applied since Oct, but some people are who applied in November. Can those people provide their stats please? if not specifics then in the form of 25%, median, or 75% on both GPA and LSATs.

I believe this is incorrect.
I've heard Davis uses its accepted students to represent this, and actual matriculated students scores are much lower.
ABA Data has Davis at: GPA: 3.45/3.63/3.75 and LSAT: 158/161/163
I see that graph where you got your numbers from, but none of the paragraphs mention exactly what the graph represents.

Look closer: "The profile grid depicts GPA and LSAT statistics of students applying for admission in Fall 2009."Inygma wrote:finalaspects wrote:some people who applied late, and were completed later seem to go into "under evaluation" much quicker. I think I understand what they're trying to do there, and it is kind of helpful to know who you're up against, but it seems a little weaselly to me because it's listed under "Student Body Profile." ... NO!

people who seemed to have applied late, like late november, but already "under evaluation", even before those who were completed in Oct/early Nov.Veritas wrote:what information are you asking for?
Trying to see if its truly random, or they're just looking at the higher stats first. Asking that those under evaluation quicker than people who applied early to tell us their stats. if not specifics then based on the 25%, median, and 75%.

It's not random..whichever law school that tells you they read files in random order is lying. Indexing is king.

Re: UC Davis
GPA and LSAT at or above 75% and I'm still "awaiting evaluation." Applied 11/16 and complete 12/3. This awaiting status drives me more nuts than the just "complete" statuses at other places for some reason. I just imagine my app sitting there all sad and lonely wondering if it will ever be seen by human eyes...

LSAT 75th, GPA between 25th and median. Sent 12/17, Complete and awaiting eval since 1/14. This wait is killing me!

Re: UC Davis
The sad thing is that if they start accepting the auto accepts anytime soon, the rest of us have an even longer wait... I'm 75% lsat, and 50%-75% Gpa, but don't consider myself an autoaccept
