I believe Decision Status Date refers to when your Decision Status changed most recently... it's not an indication of an actual decision.

Mine says the same thing, it just changed to the date they went to decision pending. Anyone who applied last cycle care to give us some insight into how long they had to wait after their status changed to decision pending for a decision?

How long has the status checker been out? I thought everyone kind of got the email about it last week (the same day the acceptances went out).

Here's hoping tomorrow is another round of acceptances.

I received the status checker on 11/5, and the first time I checked, it was already updated with my "Congratulations!" acceptance. So I don't think any of the people who got accepted last batch can answer that question, because we all got the status checker after our decisions had been rendered.

At this point, I would be satisfied with a rejection or a WL. Don't make me wait until March 24. I will have decided on another school by then.

A very nice lady told me that they were completely new to the Status Checker utility and as such they didn't know what it meant either. She looked up my file and said that I was complete and I was being reviewed. She cautioned that most people could have that status from now all the way up until March when "the majority of their decisions go out".

And now, I need some drinks.

Yeah kinda sucks... guess they only admit the people they are really enamored with early, and save the rest of the files to be reviewed all at once so they can put together a class they really like. It's nice for the early ones, but really sucks for someone with decent stats who has to wait until March to figure things out.

I don't think I'm gonna check my status there too often if it could be the same for another half a year. It just worries me that a bunch of people with numbers at exactly my level got in so quickly, yet I didn't hear back. Oh well, guess I gotta wait and find out.
