@beach_terror: asian woman. but also my GPA is a cumulative of a double-major: pre-med and politics. my pre-med grades sucked, so my cumu GPA was overall low, but my Politics and Humanities grades are AWESOME. So, I think that was evident when they looked at my transcript. I also wrote like 3 addendums: one about a recent internship experience, "why temple", and a diversity statement.

I was complete in December and then my complete date changed to 2/5/10. Thoughts?

Did everyone who was accepted get an email? I was accepted 2/9 via status checker and it also said that my acceptance packet was mailed out on this date. But I never got an email. Should I be concerned? Thanks for the help!

Depends where you live, the northeast's mail got slowed down by the blizzard. I would call if you didn't have it by next week.

Went complete from 1/20 to today 2/16. From what I am reading on this thread this could mean anything. I just hope I hear something soon

I just did the status checker and it says admitted as of 2/9 (and packet mailed on that date). I applied for the PT program (went complete on 1-27).

Numbers are 163/3.42

Any info on ASD?

In your acceptance packet, there should be information on how to log-in to their "Admitted Student Website." On that site, there are dates for the ASD programs, which started this week. The dates listed are:
Feb. 16th, 24th
March 2nd, 4th
March 20th (Admitted Student Open House)
April 2nd, 5th and 6th

The programs include a class, lunch and tour. You'll have to check the schedule for the various scheduled times, though, as they differ per date.

Due to my work schedule, I couldn't make any of these programs, so I requested an appointment with their admin office on an upcoming day. They were very accommodating and pleasant in dealing with my request.

How long did it take for those of you who were accepted to receive your packet after your status was changed to accepted? I still haven't received my packet and was accepted 2/9. I know that's not too long, especially because of the blizzard we had. But I also am pretty close to Temple because I live in Baltimore. I'm debating whether or not I should call their admissions office...

This is the most brutal wait ever! I applied early December and my status thing changed to complete for a second time on 2/2. What is taking them so long I already heard back from everyone else.

When mine changed for a second time I got my decision in a few days. So hopefully the same thing happens to you!
