I went complete 11/11 and they began reviewing my app 12/18. I submitted a late addendum and exchanged some pleasantries with the adcom who received it... so maybe they're doing me a courtesy by reviewing and denying me early.

Nah, if you're URM and somewhat legacy, could be good news as likely as bad.

Nah, if you're URM and somewhat legacy, could be good news as likely as bad.

It would be more of a legacy situation if I got in then you know. My dad got into USC medicine off the waitlist with low grades, a record of improvement, and a slightly stronger MCAT score. (Same undergrad institution too)

I'll keep my fingers crossed but I am certainly not going to hold my breath.

Yeah, 3.83 degree GPA. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCSD after floating through JC for 3 years collecting mediocre grades.

I could shoot 20 year me.

Yeah, honestly, prognosticating these things, trying to figure out why who is UR when, I personally have about a 0% success rate. Today I was put on hold by a school exact numbers got in with with nice $$$ - I wrote the Dean and asked why, some issue that is nothing to other schools but enough to fully hold my ap to that school. You never know how they think...

Very close, yes, similar type thing from more than half a decade ago affects my decision at a somewhat similar school to ND.

I received Rothman scholarship info a while back, so hopefully this is an acceptance.

Decision finalized 12/21 as well. Don't remember when I went complete but I submitted 11/3 or 11/4. I went under review sometime in Dec.
