I got a scholarship e-mail this AM too, I think according to LSN people who have gotten their offers recently have been for $23,000 right?! All of the $69,000s went out a few weeks ago?

+1 - I'm confused if you think those are different amounts or not?

Oh, yeah ... I guess some of them could be doing per year and others 3 year totals?! I didn't look at their profiles to see, that would make more sense.

Yeah that's for sure what they're doing. There's no way Miami gives out $69k/year.

Ohh, no no, haha I thought that each were 3 year totals. But 23k would be like 7.666666 per year so that doesn't really work out very well.

based on LSN it looks like Miami is giving those scholarships pretty low down to 160 / 3.3-3.4

For those who have received scholarships within the past few days, when did you receive your original acceptance?

Do I have a chance of that scholarship with 162/3.3 gpa from UMiami undergrad (3.1 LSDAS)? Don't imagine myself going back to Miami without one, but would become very tempting if I get an offer.

got scholarship email this morning and have a below median GPA, so those with 75%+ LSATs and below median GPAs shouldn't lose faith

167 LSAT, 3.3 GPA

I didn't get the letter today, but I called the number in the email and found out that I received the 23k/year with 3.2 GPA stipulation, that 15 full scholarship offers are going out in February, and that receiving an offer now does not disqualify one from a full ride.

I hope I am one of the 15!

I got in over the phone today. Has anyone gotten a full ride yet? I'm at UM for undergrad and am highly considering the law school but I would really need a full ride. My stats are 3.43/171, are my chances at a full scholly pretty good?

You have good chances at a full scholarship from schools just outside of the T-14. Wustl loves giving full rides to 170+. You would probably be better off taking a full ride to a T25.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
