Hey, it took me less than a day, but then it went to "Initial Review Complete - No Decision Made". It is my understanding that, unless you are an auto-admit (above both 75% and no redflags in your app), you stay in this "no decision made" limbo until the next wave... But I may be wrong, idklaw1993 wrote:Hi everyone! How long did it take to get a decision after your application went into review? My application was complete for almost a month, and just now says it is under review. Thanks!

I e-mailed them a LOCI two days ago and I have not gotten an email back saying it was received and added to my file. Should I be worried that it got lost or wasn't seen? I was thinking about also mailing them a physical copy of it but I'm not sure if that is overkill.

Also did this a few weeks ago with no response when they sent the email basically soliciting me for a loci. I'm sure we are fine. They really have not released many decisions and I'm sure this is crunch time for them.lomp123 wrote:I e-mailed them a LOCI two days ago and I have not gotten an email back saying it was received and added to my file. I just sent my LOCI last night, also no response, though I agree that they're simply in crunch time. I've been waiting at Initial review complete -- no decision made sine 1/23. 161/3.4. I'm hoping, but soon I will have to make other plans.

I sent them an updated resume and usually they give a response back, but they haven't even done that. They are definetly at crunch time. ALSO you guys sent LOCIs?? I thought LOCI's before Aprils were a no-no?mjw36 wrote:Lasow wrote:Also did this a few weeks ago with no response when they sent the email basically soliciting me for a loci. I'm sure we are fine. I'm sure there have already been UF Law alums that posted in this thread, but I'm a native Floridian and did my undergrad at UF so if you have any questions about the area or school in general feel free to ask.

Ditto. I'm hoping we hear soon. This is my last school, and the wait is killing me. I have other good options, but I'm waiting to see what UF does.Lasow wrote:They sent me an email basically asking for onebrownellewoods wrote:I sent them an updated resume and usually they give a response back, but they haven't even done that. Got an unsolicited phone call from UF today asking me to apply, so they're definitely not filled up lol.

Sent them a LOCI about 2 weeks, no response. Im really hoping that when they said we will be given a decision no later than mid April, they really meant early April because the other school Im considering wants a seat deposit no later than April 15th...mjw36 wrote:Ditto. Lol. How do you think that makes the "no decision made" people feel ?

Don't worry too much if you're currently no decision made, I went from that to accepted with a huge scholarship. I think they're just being cautious and taking extra time in picking their incoming class. They just jumped 7 spots on the rankings and I wouldn't be surprised if theyre treading carefully to try and bring their medians up another point or two.

Hopefully good because they've definitely not reached their class size yet.darthlawyer wrote:Dirtyolmuskrat wrote:Got an unsolicited phone call from UF today asking me to apply, so they're definitely not filled up lol.

Yeah and hey would rather accept someone who didn't even care enough about uf to apply than someone with "no decision made" stats.

Kind of a weird point to make on a board about acceptances, waitlist, and denials, but especially weird when talking about people who merely haven't heard a decision yet.darthlawyer wrote:Dirtyolmuskrat wrote:Hopefully good because they've definitely not reached their class size yet.darthlawyer wrote:Dirtyolmuskrat wrote:Got an unsolicited phone call from UF today asking me to apply, so they're definitely not filled up lol.

I was just wondering, has anyone heard of UF rejecting people right from the start? or does everyone get put under the no decision has been made category?

That's a great question, I've been wondering the same thing. LSN isn't listing many rejections for them.ApplicationSzn wrote:I was just wondering, has anyone heard of UF rejecting people right from the start? or does everyone get put under the no decision has been made category?

Does anyone know how many students UF is admitting this year? The class size of c/o 2020. Thank you!

Last fall their entering class was 314, so I would imagine somewhere in the 300-320 rangeSummer1234 wrote:Does anyone know how many students UF is admitting this year? The class size of c/o 2020. Thank you!

Re: UF c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Thank you! I'm confused... On LSN, it says matriculated 310 for class of 2020, and they are only admitting 300-320. Does that pretty much mean all the "No decision made" applicants have no chance? Did I miss something. I'm currently "No Decision Made" and still hoping for UF. Ugh... I dislike this waiting and getting my hopes up game... And advise is appreciated!jag13 wrote:Last fall their entering class was 314, so I would imagine somewhere in the 300-320 rangeSummer1234 wrote:Does anyone know how many students UF is admitting this year? I wouldn't trust LSN, first seat deposit is not even due for UF yet. They have no way of knowing. That's all self reported.
