I'm sure there isn't enough data on our end to see if it translates to increased scholly over comparable stats, but it can't hurt!

Agreed - ready to see what I can get for $$ now. I might even decide to delay and retake depending on the scholly offer.

I remember from past years that many ED applicants who were rolled over received their scholly info quicker. Let's hope that continues! I am now just wondering if the decisions come somewhat quick after being rolled over. You'd think so, right? I mean they have already reviewed your application.
I got rolled over as well. I gave them a call earlier today and we should be expecting some sort of decision on our applications soon after the new year. Can't handle this wait.

They also say that the ED decisions come out by 12/21. They're gonna give you a later deadline just in case. I'd think (hope) that some of us will hear back before the end of the year. Especially where RD acceptances are already coming through.

Was thinking same thing. I mean they can basically make an RD acceptance in their head while reviewing for ED...they aren't unfamiliar with our file.

They might not be expecting it (I doubt that people who are rolled over ever send one, so it could be a nice treat) but I'd send it. Let them know you've not at all given up, and what, if any, are some of the updates in your life which make you an even stronger candidate than when you first applied. Even if you don't have specific updates, I think it's nice even to thank them for their consideration (ass-kissing, I know) and remind them that you're determined to make this happen for yourself.
Just sent one of these off, basically stating I'm still excited to hear my (regular) decision. Hope I sounded nice in it.

Personally, I would send an email with the subject line: Y'all Trippin. And leave the body of the email completely blank.

Somewhere at BU is an admissions officer kicking themselves over the fact that you beautiful people weren't accepted, but i imagine an awkward RD acceptance letter...

"Hey.... I hope we can put the ED behind us... Cuz we like you, hopefully you like us too."

Just to give all you false hope, in my cycle a bunch of us were rejected from ED at 5 one day and then offered RD the next morning.

No reason to refresh email, the acceptance comes by call unless they have changed in the last two years. So just make sure you have LTE.

Mine still says the post-ED decision message.

Does your status still say on hold with yesterdays date or has that changed also?

No my status has changed back to "complete" and the status date is empty-- how it was before
Mine still has the old message and says "On hold" with the 12/8 date.
