I submitted in September, I think the first or second day after the application came out (It was a huge reach for me so I'm not shocked). My status checked just updated today so looks like the first wave of rejects are coming

No, I just followed last cycle closely and DLS sometimes meant WL.

Sorry what I meant is my decision means rejected (not wait listed). The guy on the phone said the a WL decision wouldn't be decided until much later so most (if not all) of the letters being sent out right now mean rejection

but if you call admissions and ask they'll tell you the decision so you don't have to wait for the letter (via post) to arrive

Offer of admission came via phone call yesterday. VM was left since my wonderful phone didn't ring, and that was followed by an email. Status checker now reads "decision letter sent."

This is likely a completely overthinking it post, but is there any reason that current Stanford Law students would have knowledge of acceptances/whose applications have been considered? I out of the blue today got a LinkedIn request from a current Stanford Law student who went to my UG school but who I never had any connection to and who never would have known I was applying. Probably just a really odd coincidence, but still
