Seems like it. There was a wave of acceptances around Jan 11-13 but nothing since.alydeee wrote:has there been a lack of admissions lately? I get the feeling that there has been.... when's the next wave

If this cycle's trend holds (no pun intended) true, they only put people on hold before an admit.GreekOmega12 wrote:Was changed to hold as well.Harry_Pluxen wrote:Admitted.alydeee wrote:status changed to "hold" today! little nervous

No status change for me. How long were you guys under initial review before being placed on hold? Best of luck!

While I very much appreciate the enthusiasm being shown by the recent posters, I would caution everyone not to jump to any conclusions. Have a great weekend!

Anyone else going to ASD on March 11? Trying to find the best hotel option. Looking into staying at the Hilton on the campus. Any 1Ls have hotel recommendations?

The dates for ASD are March 18 (not March 11) and April 8. I apologize for the change to the March date; we were trying to work around several other large law school events. All admitted students will receive invitations to attend either date. We look forward to meeting you!

I definitely recommend the Hilton on 34th St. If you want to check out the downtown bar scene, the Holiday Inn on W. University will put you close to that.Harry_Pluxen wrote:Anyone else going to ASD on March 11? Trying to find the best hotel option. Looking into staying at the Hilton on the campus. Are these ASD dates final? If not, when do you expect the dates to be finalized?
Thanks,

Hi Harry. Yes, those dates are final (finally!). Again, I apologize for the earlier confusion while we reconciled ASD with other major law school events.

I have a classmate in the Navy (a 2L) doing the exact same program right now. PM me your details and I'll have him reach out.AF_Falcon wrote:Thank you. I will PM you my choices, but my decision will come down to finances more than anything. I am applying for a program through the Air Force that will pay up to $16,000 a year in tuition and continue to pay me my active duty pay plus all benefits to attend law school full time. After passing the Bar exam, I would officially be a JAG officer and owe them an additional 6 years on top of the 2 I would have remaining on my Academy commitment. So, where I go will have no bearing on my salary. UF is high of my list as I grew up in Jacksonville, FL. It would be nice to live in the area again after being away for the last 7 years.Sonar80 wrote:Good luck. I'd be interested to see what your timeline/offers pan out to be. Where is your first choice?AF_Falcon wrote:Application now in comparative review.
