Submitted a few days ago. For some reason I can't get as hyped about Cornell as the other schools I've applied/am applying to - they just don't seem as personable I guess. Is anyone here super pumped for Cornell? Why?

I'm in love with your username.

Is there anything about the atmosphere of the school itself people love? (I.e. mich is supposed to be friendly/beautiful campus)

I find people here to be generally friendly and personable. It's more of a community feel with the smaller class size.

I can't speak to other schools, but i would say it's a welcoming campus and culture (even if winter can be brutal).

Thanks! I've never been in NY so it's just harder for me to picture the feel than the other schools I'm applying to. I'd heard others say Cornell had kind of a harsh atmosphere, so it makes me feel much better to hear the opposite from current students.
Now that I'm excited for it, of course, waiting for a decision feels that much more brutal

Thanks! Prison Mike is getting me through admissions.

I visited the law school a few years ago for a competition in undergrad and I thought it was pretty friendly. Ithaca definitely has a "small college town" feel. We went in the middle of January and were there on a rare 40 degree day, it was actually really beautiful. I was there over the weekend, so can't speak to the students. There weren't many students on campus where I was.

Mine disappeared a day or two before the date changed. I don't know if the changes are totally correlated

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
