Did anyone else get the email about the all-expenses paid trip to LA for admitted students diversity weekend?

I was a unique case I suppose - assuming it had to do with being a splitter.Alembic_of_Man wrote:I too am awaiting to hear back from UCLA but I'm curious, GiantSwan, about the interview you had.
From their website:
"UCLA School of Law does not offer interviews as part of the admissions process. However, the Admissions Committee may request an interview on a case-by-case basis."
So were you a unique case, or did you give them a call and push for the interview?

Awards will be made beginning January 2015 and continue throughout the spring."keosu11 wrote:Was a time frame brought up in regards to scholarships?spencercross wrote:Submitted 1/09, complete 1/13, in today via phone call. Figured since they spoke with Dean Schwartz today, they may have had some more insight on the scholarship situation.Dipper wrote:Per email to admitted students, "All admitted students will be considered for a merit scholarship. In today via phone call.
No mention of scholarships in that call and I'm sure (based on the website and everything else) that info will come later. Maybe with the acceptance packet.

Question for people who have already been accepted: do they eventually send you something physical in the mail, or is it just the phone call and email?

They send a packet with a letter, viewbook, and UCLA Law magazine. A nice package overall--took about 5 days to arrive for me!spencercross wrote:Question for people who have already been accepted: do they eventually send you something physical in the mail, or is it just the phone call and email?

Argh still nothing since going complete early December. They are my top choice and I have heard back from everyone else. Wish I knew about and had waited for fast track.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
