FWIW, I had been under review since October, so your time is likely coming soon. Also, when I did a law school tour with a current 3L, he encouraged applicants to basically write any and every essay they have ever wanted to when applying to USC. BUT, I don't know how I feel about sending one after you've submitted your app. It would basically be a LOCI, and I don't know if that's necessary at this point. I'm curious as to what others think about this, though.mak123 wrote:I have been complete with no movement since 11/3. Gpa and lsat both at medians. Thinking about writing a "why usc". Does anyone know usc typically feels about "why" essays? Would you recommend against it?

Anyone else went through two updates of UR2? Any implications?

Yeah, that was what I was worried about. I do not know if it was necessary, but I was wondering if it would help given that my application has not received any status updates at all since going complete almost 3 months ago.caliplaw wrote:FWIW, I had been under review since October, so your time is likely coming soon. Anyone know how long between UR2 and decision. I went Committee review 2 Monday, I'm the same today, but now there's a date change.

Looking here and at LSN there have not been many decision days (one in Jan so far?). Making a prediction between ur2 and decision would be pretty difficult. Has anyone moved into final committee review in the past few weeks?
