This happened to me too, so I sent them an email yesterday. You should too, it said on the interview request email to email them of there are no more appointment slots available, to admissions@law.columbia.edu

yeah i also sent them an email a few hours ago.
I just wanted to check with TLS and see if it was my computer or my internet's problem. It does that a lot.

Has anyone who received a 12/31 interview request been able to schedule an interview in the narrow time frame set out in the original email?

All dates were grayed out for me. I sent them an email a few days ago but did not get acknowledgement.

Has anyone sucesfully negotiated a fee waiver? If so, any advice? I got one through LSAC last year after I took the LSAT, but I didn't get one this year.

Non-EDer. Submitted my app 1/2/15, wondering when RDs usually start receiving acceptances?

If it's been less than a year, then you still have the fee waiver active. If its been more than a year, write them an e-mail explaining that there is a general glitch in CRS whereby those who received fee waivers in one year do not receive them in subsequent years even though the initial fee waiver has expired.

That's how I solicited a fee waiver from CLS.

Thanks I'll give it a try.

To those of you who were unable to sign up for an interview because none of the dates were available - have you heard back from CLS in response to your email? I'm getting a little nervous since today would be day five of the five days they gave us to book an appointment.

Not yet, but I would think responding to their email to tell them there are no slots counts as our check-in within the five-day window.

Yeah, I didn't get a response either but I wouldn't worry as long as you sent the email in the 5 day timeframe. They'll see the timestamp and know anyway :)

I have my interview tomorrow morning. If anyone who has finished the interview has any insight or can share any advice/questions, I'd be VERY VERY grateful. Feel free to PM.

I've scoured this forum and past forums to try to gleen as much information as I could.

So is not getting an interview request anything to worry about? I'm GPA>75th and 50th>LSAT>75th and haven't heard a thing from them.

I don't think so. Here's what I found on their website:
Columbia FAQ wrote: I did not receive an interview invitation. Does this mean that I am a weaker candidate?

You should not be concerned if you are not invited to interview with a member of the Admissions Committee. It is important to keep in mind that we are only interviewing a small number of candidates relative to the size of our applicant pool. In no way does an interview invitation imply or guarantee admission. Similarly, a favorable decision nonetheless may be rendered even if you are not invited to interview.

Oh ok, thanks. For some reason I was under the impression that they were going to interview everyone this cycle.

Right there with you with no invite and I'm trying not to worry about it. Columbia says they don't interview everyone but I know when the first non-interviewee gets accepted I will breathe a sigh of relief.

Seems like they aren't interviewing autoadmits (like you). Why bother interviewing a URM with insane stats. That's sort of like the Nobel Prize committee interviewing Albert Einstein to determine his qualifications for the prize.
 Thank you...Speaking of autoadmits, I take it you haven't received an invite to interview either?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
