Did you interview?

If not, I'm guessing that its the "nope declined to interview" update since requests were due 12/1 i think.
I did, and once I did, it went to the first 'complete being reviewed' status update, back on 10/23.

welp.
That looks like the 2nd "post interview" update then. (Not that I know what that means for anyone, but hopefully it means decisions soon)
Believe me, if I get a decision I'll be tripping over my own fingers posting an update.

I read somewhere that they only started reviewing applications on December 1, so not sure whether this is an indication that they finished reviewing mine or haven't touched it.

I thought it was really helpful! Some great questions were asked.

You can actually go back on the website where it was held and reread through the questions and answers. I thought they were going to do a presentation as other schools have done, but they did not! Only the Q&A!

Thats what im thinking. I also checked my status checker after I got the email and it updated to 12/8, but it's still just complete. Do you think this is because of the email?

Yeah, I got it too. I got excited at first when I saw that it said, "Northwestern." Then I read the email... I'm pretty sure it went out to all applicants.

Yeah I got really excited when I saw the email too. Not sure if the town hall will fit with my work schedule but I'll try to make it if I can.

I got the email, too. It seems painless to do, if unlikely to have much benefit.

Reading through one of the old live chats with NU Law Admissions I noticed Johann mentioned ED apps were up this year (granted, in mid-October) and that it might take a few weeks to get through them. I doubt they fell off much given the number of interviews they had to open up. I would prefer a decision by Friday but of course an extra week or two isn't going to kill me.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
