Are you planning to go for round 2, or are you planning to change to RD and remain on the list?parisian wrote:same here, so sad...9427lls wrote:I went complete in late September, ED. Got the decision on reserve today. This is really frustrating.

My current status date was updated to yesterday. Not sure if that means anything, but I'll let y'all know if I find anything out.

Think I'd opt for round 2, as I am not having a better option for now. How about you?9427lls wrote:Are you planning to go for round 2, or are you planning to change to RD and remain on the list?parisian wrote:same here, so sad...9427lls wrote:I went complete in late September, ED. I don't know. I'm just wondering would I get the same result again? I mean, I don't have anything to add to my application (like a new LSAT score or an updated transcript).parisian wrote:Think I'd opt for round 2, as I am not having a better option for now. Last year the first wave of acceptances went out on a Thursday. So I guess there is still sometime.

Re: Cornell c/o 18 Applicants
I got deferred to round 2 ED as well and was wondering a couple things:
1. what was the usual outcome for people who got deferred to ED round 2 from round 1 in the past? (deferred to RD vs accept vs reject)
2. I mentioned in an addendum that I was strongly considering retaking the December LSAT - could this have affected their decision?
I realize I could find the answer to 1 on my own by looking at past threads but I thought I would ask in case anybody knew already

Anybody know how they'll notify us of a decision? Letter? Email? Phone call? Status checker?
Also, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

If there are any decisions sent this week, do you guys think it will be limited to those who applied earliest, i.e. september, or for people in mid-late october as well?

Based on how this cycle has been relatively different than last year, I don't know what to expect from anyone right now.

Complete 10/23, 11/25, 12/1 & 12/2. Does change of date = change of reader?

Similar path here. Went Complete 10/23, 11/20, 12/1 and now 12/2. I'm thinking you could be right with the different reader thing.4LTsPointingNorth wrote:Complete 10/23, 11/25, 12/1 & 12/2. Does change of date = change of reader?

can you two elaborate on how its been different - I feel like I might be missing something - are we saying its even less predictable based on stats?xylocarp wrote:so much thisDream_weaver32 wrote:Based on how this cycle has been relatively different than last year, I don't know what to expect from anyone right now.

Re: Cornell c/o 18 Applicants
I think they are saying that this year's cycle has been different date wise (like when people have been invited to interview, acceptance dates, etc.) so it's been much harder to predict when movement will happen.accessislife wrote:can you two elaborate on how its been different - I feel like I might be missing something - are we saying its even less predictable based on stats?xylocarp wrote:so much thisDream_weaver32 wrote:Based on how this cycle has been relatively different than last year, I don't know what to expect from anyone right now.
