Yeah when I finish it. Not gonna have time to do so for a few weeks. Maybe I can post the schools I am missing and we can get it farmed out.Dream_weaver32 wrote:Any chance we could get a peek at that?rebexness wrote:I have most of the top 20 PS/Optional stuff in a word doc.

If you manage to get 170+, which I'm pretty sure you will be able to, you might be pleasantly surprised with your outcome so apply to as many T14's as possible.smccgrey wrote:Winston1984 wrote:Skeptical.. I promise you guys I'm not delusional!
Hahaha I know, I know... I'm currently in Montreal actually, but yes, the reasons are more personal (Half of my US family members are in DC, plus husband's employment, plus I'd like to live there more or less permanently). Also my uGPA is a shitty 3.15 and the only other t14 likely to take me is NU. I don't have an LSAT score yet, but unless it's literally 180, I think my chances of getting actual money from anywhere beyond the NDCG range are slim to none.

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
Here's a spreadsheet i put together last year to keep track of that kind of stuff -- it may change a bit year-to-year but it'll probably mostly be the same: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharingeverything_bagel wrote:Thanks for the awesome offers of help, everyone! I'm sure we'll be asking. Right now I just need help redirecting energy spent refreshing TLS and the NYT to writing another PS draft...
Does anyone know if app requirements (essay length, optional essays, other weird questions, etc.) from last year are listed anywhere in easily accessible fashion? I opened a few of the apps for reference while they were still available but it's confusing/annoying to search through them for the requirements (I was going to copy/paste some questions here but LSAC keeps claiming I'm logged on somewhere else, so I give up for now). If this exists it would be an awesome resource!

I know a person sitting at T6 with an LSAT of 175 and GPA 2.9. Then again he also believes other aspects of his application might have something to do with it..smccgrey wrote:I'm sure there is SOMEONE else... somewhere... maybe...Winston1984 wrote: Well good luck on the LSAT! And thanks about the LSAT! I'm feeling relatively optimistic on that front.

If I had a <3.0 I would be blanketing the top 20 or so, not just t14.

TCR. You may be looking at a full ride at a T20 v close to sticker at the T14. Always good to have options.rebexness wrote:If I had a <3.0 I would be blanketing the top 20 or so, not just t14.

Plus odds are you won't have many, if any at all, T14 to choose from.scottidsntknow wrote:TCR. You may be looking at a full ride at a T20 v close to sticker at the T14. Always good to have options.rebexness wrote:If I had a <3.0 I would be blanketing the top 20 or so, not just t14.

I guess it all depends on who is applying-if that person is willing to pay close to sticker, which is a personal choice at the end of the day.scottidsntknow wrote:TCR. I Wouldnt take T20 over T14 just because I had a full ride at T20...then again that's just me.

You won't have much of a nogotiating power, because most schools will not offer you anything but if you are willing to pay take it! It's up to you.smccgrey wrote:I think the wisdom is blanket the t14, see what happens, negotiate accordingly!Learn_Live_Hope wrote:I know a person sitting at T6 with an LSAT of 175 and GPA 2.9. You say that now, but as someone with a full at a T20 seeing a lot of people taking out 200kish for T14 is really reassuring that I made the right choice.Learn_Live_Hope wrote:I guess it all depends on who is applying-if that person is willing to pay close to sticker, which is a personal choice at the end of the day.scottidsntknow wrote:TCR. I wouldn't expect money and I would expect a long turnaround for admissions, unfortunately. Good luck in Sept!smccgrey wrote:Is that always true? My understanding from lurking admissions threads and LSN, etc. is that even with a GPA under 3.3 you can get $$$ if your LSAT is high enough, esp. with some distance from undergrad. Obviously we can't take anything for granted, but in the unlikely event of a 175+ LSAT, would splitters not be able to expect any money at all?Learn_Live_Hope wrote:

And I'd just like to reiterate that I am not assuming a 175+!!! I'm not insane! I'm pretty confident that 170+ is likely, but even then... not counting my chickens...
