As for WL being better than a rejection. I rather a rejection so I can fully move on than to be dragged through this same state until late August, to no avail.

Still considering elsewhere, but definitely considering NU more than most. I'm deposited at another T14 with some $ and riding a few T6 waitlists, as unlikely as those would be to come through. The longer it goes the more comfortable I get at my current deposited slot, but who knows what will happen.
