I wrote a legitimate addendum and very compelling adversity statement (at least according to the professors I asked to read it and other admissions officers from schools that admitted me) but in the end, I know it's a numbers game. Does anyone care to provide me with any false hope when it comes to a speedy evaluation with a late application?
I jumped straight from received to Committee Review 2 on 1/16 and nothing since, either! I'm in the opposite situation with LSAT/GPA, but I'm curious about what this stagnancy means!

If last year is any indication, they release decisions in batches. For example, the first batch of decisions went out the middle of January, second batch beginning of February, and the second batch the second week of February. It looks like there's only been one batch of decisions this cycle, so I wouldn't read into being in 1st/2nd committee read too much, as they may just be waiting to release decisions all at once. Or they may be holding your app for another later batch, when they have a better idea of they applicant pool.

This is all just conjecture, but it seems like it may be useful to calm a few nerves.

Well I applied in October and got under review into 1st committee on the same date you did? Does that help? Although we're in the same boat on a bad LSAT relative to GPA. I'm above their 75th for GPA as well but below for LSAT.
I'm a reverse splitter and got in. There's hope!
Really?? Do you mind if we ask what your stats were? And when you went under review, how many committees, and when you got in?
3.98/161. Submitted on 12/8, and I banned myself from checking up on the status of all my applications. In via email on 1/13.

Also In Final Review as of this AM.... any evidence out there to suggest how long Final Review usually lasts?

Gould itself claims 7 - 10 days for a decision following "Decision Finalized".

It doesn't glean much for us, but if I had to guess we'll be in DF by Friday and know probably by next Friday at the latest.

I went from "final review" to decision finalized within a couple days and got my decision email on the afternoon of the day it was finalized. I don't think you'll have to wait that long!

Nice thank you for the info. Now my heart rate can stay at a cool near-fatal level as I refresh my email for the next 5 days.

To the new admits: were you in 'final review', and if so, for how long?

Accepted via email!

As far as I can tell, today my status changed from "Committee Review 2" to "In Final Review" and later to "Decision Finalized," and then I got the email.

LSAT: 168
GPA: 3.64

I checked my USC status five minutes before you posted this and then again now expecting a change. No change. :( Congrats though.

3.2 168 2nd review since the 16th. I would probably sell my soul for an acceptance call at this point. Hopefully they admit more people this week lolzz.
