Re: WUSTL c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 Cycle)
Hey everyone, just a quick shout-out. Put this in the thread requesting updates from the OPs a while back, but figured I would throw it in here too. My situation has changed and I will not be submitting any apps this cycle (or, most likely, at least for a couple of cycles). If anyone wants to take over the role of OP please feel free to send me a PM. I won't have access to some of the information that people may want updated. Thanks!

Had my interview and it went pretty well. Basic questions and very friendly interviewer. She all but offered admission by the end of the week. Really excited about WUSTL now.

He's spent 100 years getting to the point where he can force you to learn that much material. We spent the first half of the semester on gifts and finders.cusenation wrote:Spent way too much printing money, time, and tears putting my property binders together. The interviewer didn't outright say to expect an acceptance, but it was a positive tone and was told they thought I was a "great candidate" and to expect a decision within the next week or so.
Have you got your decision? I was interviewed today and the lady concluded the talk basically in the same way as you described. I didn't find your update, which made me rather uneasy about the result.

I interviewed with Krystal Orr. She was very friendly and the interview wasn't bad at all so anyone who hasn't interviewed yet don't stress out too much about it!maplecai wrote:Who did you interview with? just thought I would make a note on this page that judging from my own admission, and the post of others, it seems that Wash U is conducting interviews throughout the week and then sending out emailed decisions on Fridays

Does anyone have an idea of how WUSTL looks at reverse splitters, and especially for $$? Obviously WUSTL has been throwing a lot of money to keep the LSAT up, but I'm thinking/hoping they do somewhat similar things on the GPA side.

I am reverse splitter and I did not qualify for the first round of merit aid. I am probably going to retake in February. With this said, the money situation could change with time.scotth724 wrote:Does anyone have an idea of how WUSTL looks at reverse splitters, and especially for $$? Assuming 3.8+, it doesn't look like they go below 160 on myLSN.info.scotth724 wrote:Does anyone have an idea of how WUSTL looks at reverse splitters, and especially for $$? High GPAs are just more common than high LSATs.

I received a confirmation email the day before with the interviewer's name.vanora wrote:I will have an interview tomorrow. Will I know my interviewer's name before? Thanks~~~
Edit: Nvm the reason I received that email was because they had to reschedule. Not sure if yours will be the same.

Had the interview today, and I think it went well. I was told I should hear something soon, so I hope this is good news! The interview was a very nice touch and really put WUSTL higher up on my list.

I received a letter with the same information as my acceptance email, word for word I believe. The letter obviously came several days after the acceptance email.

Do applicants that are requested for an interview get rejected.
