Kinda of a pain to figure out what the award is but from what I gathered I received a ~4k grant...

Apparently the email that went out today isn't related to the law school's academic scholarships. I called Admissions to confirm, as I had my interview recently and was none too thrilled to see an empty Award History page.

I know everyone is currently worried about scholarships, but does anyone know where the law students live? Do they stay around the law school for the most part or are they better places to live?

From what I could gather at ASW....Mt Vernon, Fed Hill and Canton were popular places. I drove past Mt Vernon and it seemed nice. Though I really have no clue.

I told them in my scholly interview about the money I was being offered by Wake Forest and others to the tune of 2/3 tuition. I didn't get the feeling they would be coming close to that.

So they haven't even given you an offer yet? I got that vibe from them as well when I spoke with one of the ladies in admissions. I haven't heard anything from UMD regarding $$, but I also got a nice scholly from Wake. Maryland was my top choice originally, but, unfortunately, it doesn't look like they're coming through with $$.

I was hoping for a little more, I'd love to go to Maryland but obviously it'd have to be the right price. I told them two other scholarships I'd received from higher ranking (20-30) schools and they offered a little less than half of that, $10,000. Is that similar to others' experiences?
