if you look at past years USC doesn't release most decisions until march/april.

If I'm under 2nd comm do you think it'll take until march/april? I hope not...mcs268 wrote:if you look at past years USC doesn't release most decisions until march/april.

Any idea how much time it takes from the committee 1st read to final decision? i sent the application way back in september and it entered 1st read on the 4th of this month.

Committee 1st read as of 1/8!
I've been complete since early Oct. Glad they didn't forget about me.

It'll come. They're supposed to read every application sooner or later, right?goden wrote:AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHAT ABOUT ME. I mean, congratsbellbane12 wrote:Committee 1st read as of 1/8!

Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
Just a warning, I've been under 2nd committee review since late November... no movement since. Both numbers are above 75th percentiles, decent softs, no negatives (such as legal issues), numbers aren't in YP territory. So even if it does seem like it's moving along, sometimes it's not.
I hate reading what I just wrote. Come on USC!!!

I went UCR2 on the 1/3, and now the date has changed to 1/9...wha? thought date changes only correlated to actual status changes for USC

Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
I have a feeling that they, and other schools, aren't going to be making decisions really until after Feb 1. this is a weird cycle and i think they are holding out until they know exactly what candidates they have. That said, after feb 1 is prob going to be a massive bloodbath.

Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
is there any reason a school like USC would wait longer to release decisions? won't it reduce their yield if they let their competitor schools give out decisions and scholarships first?

Was gonna check in but I'm getting the impression that I have some time until I need to think about USC haha. 166/3.76, mostly enticed by being able to wear the same colors as my alma mater (continuity is cheaper) and those little sweater-dresses the cheerleaders wear.
