Congrats to all the admits so far! Does anyone want to take a guess (educated or otherwise) on whether they'll only update batches first thing in the morning, or if they might throw some out later in the day as well? Last year's thread wasn't helpful in figuring this out, since people were ASW fanatics and it's different this year.

First of all, congrats to all of you that have been accepted!

For those of you that have not yet mentioned it on this thread, could you please post how long it took from the day you submitted to the day you went complete? It would help calm me down to see some numbers--I'm applying ED and have to go complete by the 15th, so I'm freaking out that I'll miss the deadline.

Looks like a lot (though not all) of people accepted on LSN/this thread are current ugrads at U.Mich. Someone earlier suggested it was to drum up interest in the event at the school last night- one person on LSN even got his acceptance letter at that event, so it seems like a fair bet.

Looks like a lot (though not all) of people accepted on LSN/this thread are current ugrads at U.Mich. Someone earlier suggested it was to drum up interest in the event at the school last night- one person on LSN even got his acceptance letter at that event, so it seems like a fair bet.

FWIW, I'm not in any way connected to the University of Michigan.

FWIW, I got in as a UMich UG this morning. Missed the event.... But received correspondence from Dean Z asking me to attend due to my lack of RSVP beforehand (couldn't go due to a prior commitment)..... so I would assume the handing out of acceptance letters at the event could be legit info.

I would say it is too early for that kind of talk. I am in the same boat as you (both in terms of timing and numbers) and haven't received a decision. Patience...
